Stefano Bolcato, Mabrick- Renè Magritte, Fine Art graphics, 40x50 cm
The work is a pop reinterpretation of Magritte's famous "Son of Man". The iconic man in a bowler hat is replaced by a Lego man on whose face there is not an apple but a green brick. The artist also wanted to ironize about the title of the work, calling it Mabrick, it is a reference both to the name of the surrealist master and to the world of Lego bricks represented by Magritte's most famous masterpiece.
The work is a tribute to the great master of art, whose work has all the distinctive elements.
This original narrative reinvents and reinterprets numerous masterpieces from history.
The work is numbered 23/150 in the lower left-hand corner and signed in the lower right-hand corner where it also bears its original stamp.
