Butterflies and Flowers is a fine art print created by the artist Ludovica Lugli. Her creations take the viewer into a magical and unreal world. In her representations we can come across animals of all species that inhabit magical places and live in domestic environments in place of human beings, as if to say that they are tired of this world dominated solely and exclusively by us: a message that the artist then wants to send us.

Here we see butterflies in a very old house (as we can see from the architecture in the background). The swarm of butterflies flies freely and undisturbed. We find an intimacy emphasised by the use of soft, very warm lighting, soft colours and scenery that almost always refers to the past.

The print is part of the "Abandoned places" series and is hand-signed in the bottom right-hand corner and numbered 21/100 with the artist's embossed stamp.
