Giulia Baccara, NoLo Soul (Green), print, 42x30 cm, 2023

NoLo Soul is a work by Giulia Baccara, a print on 200 grams paper. The work depicts a large whale on whose back is represented the district of Milan, NoLo, a redeveloped area north of Loreto as its name suggests (North of Loreto).

We find depicted the most significant architecture and elements of the district, from left to right we find: the entrance to the red metro, the large municipal market in Viale Monza, followed by the trees representing the Trotter park, the Ciresola school with its extremely old plexus, adjacent to the square nicknamed Piazza Arcobalena; next the famous tram 1 and finally the Church of Santa Maria Beldrate in Via Oxilia.

The whole is accompanied by a large circle in the background, coloured teal.

The work is an open edition print signed in pen on the back.
