Work by Walter Cremonini, a contemporary Milanese artist. The work represents the duel between a centaur and a minotaur. In his works, Cremonini wants to deal with themes such as power, oppression and rebellion, and he does so by taking up mythological subjects or those of classical antiquity. In this way he denounces modern everyday life, that of a man who never stops and who often fights for ephemeral goals. He sees today's man as a terrible war machine.
His drawing is characterised by chiaroscuro and the use of only two colours: black and red. The latter emphasises the elements that have to do with death: that cause or symbolise it.
