Il giro is an acrylic painting on canvas by Francesco Palvarini that abstractly depicts a city, more precisely a street. In an abstract manner and with rapid brushstrokes Palvarini quickly sketches the sides of buildings.

The predominant colours are blue, black-grey, white, burgundy-red, which he uses in splashes on the left side of the work, and a few brushstrokes of yellow.

The vanishing point of the painting is at the bottom centre where we can observe, barely hinted at in a circular pattern, human figures on bicycles, which, thanks to the strong brushstrokes, simulate movement.
