Colour etching by Enrico Baj; the artist proposes in this work one of his most emblematic subjects: generals. In particular here the subject is Charles of Habsburg, Archduke of Austria and Duke of Teschen, also known as Prince Charles. He was an Austrian field marshal, writer and military theorist. He lived in the period between the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars and was one of its most convinced opponents. He also became particularly famous for having carried out an extensive reform of the Autrian army after the collapse of the Holy Roman Empire.

The work is signed at the bottom right and numbered 3/100 at the bottom left.

The serigraphy is published in "Baj. General catalogue of original prints"; on page 30 in its blue version.

Below is the dry stamp of Finarte.
