La Pupazza, "Pizza Traffic Light" fig shovel, Sculpture with led, h 67 cm

Artwork by the Street Artist La Pupazza, a "gentle writer" who became internationally famous for having transformed her imaginative inner world into a real form of art. Her expressive style reveals the love for the land of origin, Salento, for food and for the colors of the Mediterranean that she translates in a combination of different shapes and materials, giving life to her imaginary worlds.

"Pizza Traffic Light" has the shape of a prickly pear shovel with an unusual purple color. The red light of the sinuous traffic light depicted on the right becomes the sauce of two colorful pizzas. The cheerful effect is accentuated by the presence of external LEDs.

The work is part of a larger project and belongs to the series of "Salento illuminarie" light sculptures created together with the artist Ernesto Palma.
