La Pupazza, Human Glass, Sculpture with led, h 118 cm

Artwork by the Street Artist La Pupazza, a "gentle writer" who became internationally famous for having transformed her imaginative inner world into a real form of art. Her expressive style reveals the love for the land of origin, Salento, for food and for the colors of the Mediterranean that she translates in a combination of different shapes and materials, giving life to her imaginary worlds.

Here the red wine comes out of a spilled glass and takes the form of a stylized human profile. The whole outline is delineated by a continuous succession of LED lights that give the work even more bright and lively tones.

The work is part of a larger project and belongs to the series of "Salento illuminarie" light sculptures created together with the artist Ernesto Palma.

The artist's signature appears high up on the foot of the glass.
