Microgroove (microphone) AC HPM is a silkscreen print and paper collage, executed on an LP (vinyl) cover, by the American street artist Shepard Fairey, also known as Obey.

The work looks exactly like a record cover: this recalls Obey's great connection with the world of music and his great interest in the singers he portrays in many of his subjects. From an elegant pattern emerges at the centre, delineated by a circle with a black background and with an imposing appearance, the microphone, which is the subject of the representation; at its sides we can observe the vibrations that it transmits.

Two colours predominate: dirty beige and black. Accompanying the central figure are some inscriptions: at the top in large characters we read 'OBEY RECORDS', while immediately below appears the inscription 'stereo' in smaller characters. At the bottom, instead, we read 'long play microgroove' and, immediately afterwards again in larger letters, 'STEREO FIDELITY'.

To the lettering, the artist adds his ever-present trademark: a small circle encloses a star with the face of André the Giant in the centre. The work is dated 2008, signed on the lower right and numbered in a limited edition of only eight pieces.
