Aj Roi, Karma, mixed technique, diam. 90 cm

Unique work created by Aj Roi (Federico Ajello) working with a mixed technique on a real road sign, in this case the sign indicating a roundabout.

At the center appears the inscription "Karma", made with a marker, which is linked to the circularity of the sign itself. Karma means "action" in Sanskrit and refers to the cosmic law that reveals how the functioning of evolution is linked to our actions and the continuous possibility of redemption.

Cause and effect chase each other in a continuous universal movement, symbolized in the work by the arrows themselves. The artist emphasizes the message with several thick lines that, together with the light dripping, balance the overall yield between empty and full. The slight scratches on the surface indicate the challenges that every human must face in the course of existence.
