Oil on panel inspired by the style of the Fauves because of the expressive force of the colours, between which are placed the figures of two lovers. The two lovers are looking into each other's eyes, from which their feelings emerge. His face expresses distress, as if they would soon be far away. On the left, the colours seem to represent a train: probably one of the two is leaving. On the right is a cathedral building, perhaps a symbol of their promises of love.
The work is signed L.K. in the bottom right-hand corner.
