This work by Giuseppe Comparini, a post macchiaioli painter, represents a country view with gypsy people on the foreground. He is influenced by his predecessors Giovanni Fattori and Giovanni Malesci, and his art is characterized by wonderful contrasts between light and colour, tipically of the Impressionism. The work is signed on the lower right.
