This offset graphic by Giorgio De Chirico is an edition taken from the unique work of the same name realized in 1917 and kept at GAM in Rome.

Here De Chirico represents a scene of the Iliad in a metaphysical vision, the two characters are transformed into his famous mannequins. The opera represents the last shrug between Ettore and Andromaca before the Trojan hero faces the enemy Achilles in battle. The scene is therefore a sad and tender farewell among the duo in love, conscious and resigned to their fates.

The poster (offset printing) is signed by Giorgio De Chirico.
