Carlo Massimo Franchi, Red Carpet, oil on opal plexiglas with internal led, 171x46x4 cm

Red Carpet is a homage to the Venice Film Festivalby the contemporary artist Carlo Massimo Franchi, who's a great experimenter, he tries different styles, from figurative to abstract art. In this artwork there are homages to the series "Mediterranean women" inspired by his master Salvatore Fiume and mentions to his famous Kalos. With the series Stargate Light there is another artistic evolution: everything exist thanks to the internal led which alters the chromatical perception of the surface. Colours change over and over again, to shock the observer.
