The pleading city: limited edition print by the contemporary artist Pier Luca Bencini, that represents a vision of Milan at sunset time. Against a sky inflaming with the warm shades of yellow, orange and red, the ultramodern buildings of the Milanese skyline stand out. The first look to the artwork is catalysed by the spire of Unicredit Tower, perfectly recognizable, even though the observer's attention starts soon rising towards the dark blu of the night. Thanks to his highly tactile and freight with pigment painting, the artist accompanies the look of the public in a trip through all the three primary colors: from the yellow of the lowest sky, still illuminated by the last rays of sunshine, the eye lies on the warm red of the sunset, to eventually arrive to an intense nocturnal blu. The work, that is part of Milano Vola Alto collection, is also picture of the cover of the namesake book. Numbered 12/12 and signed lower right.
