Anna Antola, Green Line, mixed media on paper, 30x23 cm

Green Line: work by the contemporary artist Anna Antola. In one of her everyday life scenes, the artist represents a man and a woman who, nightdressed, travels on a coach of milanese subway Green line. The work, which is part of Milano Vola Alto project, pays tribute to the M2 line, that goes through Milan city and connects some of its nerve centers. The artist chooses of combining a flat layer of colors with a series of inserts of different materials, as it happens with the glitters recreating the decorations of the woman's robe. In this way the realistic output embraces the simple and naif style that accompanies Antola in all her creations.
