Assicurazioni Generali Palace: litography by the contemporary artist Giovanni Franzi, who here proposes to the viewer an ironical reinterpretation of the reknown milanese building headquartier of Assicurazioni Generali, in Milan. The building, an elegant architecture in eclectic style, was realized at the end of 800s and it marked the beginning of the ideation of the new Cordusio Square. The square, connected to Sforzesco Castle by via Dante, represents since ever a historical nerve center of the city from Milan. Loyal to his activity of architectures portrayer, Franzi reinterprets in a personal and peculiar vision the most reknown architectural works of Milan city, transforming them from simple scenographies to autonomous and ironical subjects. The work is numbered 94/200 on the left bottom and signed on the right bottom by the artist.
