Train tracks of Porta Garibaldi: photographic work on sale by the Milanese photographer Francesco Langiulli. Intensely wedded to the beauties and the views of his birth city, Langiulli dedicates the shoot presented here to the railway station of Milano Porta Garibaldi. The underlying idea seems to see the new and modern district of Porta Nuova, represented by the ultra-modern skyscrapers, as the ending point of a long path, given by the train tracks. The urban project Porta Nuova is todays shown as the new beating heart of the milanese business activities, just as Porta Garibaldi is the station for commuters traffic. The shoot is taken in the late afternoon, almost at nightfall, in order to oppose the last rays of the sun to the artificial lights of windows and lampposts.
