Milan the future is here: work on sale by the Lombard artist Carlo Massimo Franchi, who pays a tribute to Milan and to its yearning for the future. The work is vertically developed, therefore recreating the idea of a stargate: at the end of an impervious path the viewer can glimpse Pelli Tower, symbol of the union between modernity and tradition typical of the main city from Lombardia. The skyscraper remembers a spaceship ready to take-off, and so does the same title of the work, written in the bottom, which depicts the launching point. The choice of the light colours and the twinkling given by the glitter inserts on the surface of the building contribute in creating a transparent atmosphere, almost translucid.
