Gae: mixed technique on opal plexiglass that the contemporary artist Carlo Massimo Franchi realizes for the project Milano Vola Alto. Subject of the work is the well-known architect and designer Gae Aulenti, who is portrayed half-faced, while her look points to the sky. The woman stands out on a background representing the ultramodern skyline of milanese area Porta Nuova, of which the central square entitled precisely to Aulenti represents the nerve center. Thanks to a learned alternation of warm and cold shades, Franchi gives dynamism to the scene, and by delimiting the subjects with thick contours lines he gives instead an idea of solidity and stability. The work is signed on the right bottom by the artist.
