Alessandro Russo, The Duomo 2014, retouchè, 46x32 cm

The Duomo 2014: retouchè by the contemporary artist Alessandro Russo. Russo's works has been concentrating on urban subjects, particulary on the new Milanese architecture, and to the historical monuments. With a photographic gaze, the artist represents a view of the majestc Cathedral of Milan. In this work, Duomo is blue with powerful signs that make the architecture more intense; brush strokes make the sky more intense and the atmosphere bright. The work is signed on the right bottom and marked P.U (unique piece) and coloured by hand, on the left bottom.
