Milano Vola Alto

Milano Vola Alto is an idea, a project continuously evolving, an authentic gift, a series of exhibitions about Milan and for Milan. Different contemporary artists have interpreted the city in sincere testimonies of the change: atmospheres sometimes dreamy, sometimes fantastic or contemplative, in visions sometimes Decadent, and others satirical or realistic. The urban landscapes created in these paintings do not want to give an univocal interpretation to the territory, but to give instead different and diverse points of view. These are so much vast to make each observer find his own work, by recognizing in it the same mindset and by sharing the deep emotions the work contains. The histories told by these painters do not need words, since colors, shades, shapes, and lines are sufficient to narrate the true meaning of things, to transport us in the heart of the composition. The book of the same name, which comes along to each event Milano Vola Alto, pass through the outstanding episodes of the centenary history of the city from Lombardia, by proposing Milan and its culture as the engine of the economic recovery, of the creative impulse, of the lively and contagious energy.
