Norma Picciotto, Everything is futility and a race behind the wind, digital photograph, printed on Elicobond 100x70cm

"The wind goes south and bends to the north. Turns and goes on its turns, the wind returns." (Qohelet 1-6). 

The artist interprets the Qohelet, a senile work by King Solomon (III century B.C) in which is exhibited the fight between good and evil. It's an occasion to deal with the theme of the fragilty and caducity of human existence, dominated by chance and transience. In the picture, realized through a digital elaboration, are overlapped more photographs, taken in different moments. In this image, a child looks from a phantom balcony to the wind and the water running along their path.
