The work represented in this graphic is "Torpedo...Los!", created in 1963 by artist Roy Lichtenstein. 

Lichtenstein is one of the most famous exponents of Pop Art. One of his greatest achievements is to have managed to elevate comics and the cartoon world to the rank of a work of art. The scene shows the interior of a submarine, where a few words are exchanged between a commander and a soldier. The theme of war and, more precisely, that of the call to arms is taken up again. Lichtenstein looks both at the Second World War and the Cold War. The artist in his works has documented an era and a culture.
