Masse stellari in formazione is an original artwork by Bruno Budassi (Del Buda). It's a preparatory study made by the artist on the back of a poster announcing one of his solo exhibition from 2011.

It's made in felt tip pen, just like most of his composition studies works, in which Del Buda traces these lines with a quick but precise and confident sign, that almost looks like one single continuous line.

The subject is one of Del Buda's most frequented: the artist has been a follower of Lucio Fontana and his Spatialism artistic movement, that had its peak with Fontana's "Tagli" (Cuts). Here, Del Buda keeps working on his master's theories, studying what other reality could hide behind the canvas once it's been cut through.
