The Retouchè David mi Piace, also represents one of the many characters in the bizarre world painted by Yux.

Here we see him reinterpreting Michelangelo's famous David, mocking contemporary society.

In fact, as we can see, the David holds a telephone in his hand, looking almost astonished; underneath him is an inscription "I LIKE" with the thumb of the famous social media Facebook.

The artist captures the details, emphasising the more comical side of the character through splashes of bright colour and instinctive somatic features.

The whole is framed like an advertising poster, where the colours are bright and the outlines black and bold.

The slogans accompanying the image complete the work with amusing puns.
