Andy Warhol

Andrew Warhola was born in Pittsburgh in 1928. He came from Czechoslovakia but he is well-known all over the world as the best representative of Pop Art. 

After many experiences as illustrator for magazines and books, from '60s Warhol began to realize artworks which made him famous.

He represented mass products, portraits of celebrities, pictures from mass media and advertising. Warhol closed off the subject and repeated it many times on the surface of his works with bright and unreal colours.
