Angiolo Volpe

Angiolo Volpe was born in Livorno in 1943 and he painted yet when he was young. Thanks to his origins he met the painting of Macchiaioli which influenced his style and technique. The themes of his works express all his love for his homeland: Livorno, the sea, Maremma. 

He exhibits his paintings in Italy and abroad (also in USA and Japan) obtaining esteem by critics. Now he lives in Castiglioncello where he works isolated.
