SeriDécollages

The SeriDécollage is overlapping two screen-prints with hand made rips by artist. It's a development of décollage, the technique which made Mimmo Rotella famous in '50s. The subjects are always classical movies posters and Marilyn Monroe. These artworks are multiples but this collection mantains uniqueness thanks to the manual action of the artist who works on the multiple; this way every copy is is different from each other.

Each seridécollage is signed by the artist, enumerate and has got the mark of the Foundation Mimmo Rotella. The collection is published on the catalogue by Elena Pontiggia  Mimmo Rotella multiple décollages, Milano, Silvana Editoriale, 2005.
