Margherita Maria Teresa was born from Filippo IV of Spain and his second wife, as well as niece and cousin, Marianna of Austria. The wedding was politically favorable, but genetically disastrous for the progeny. Six children born, but only Margherita and Carlo survived. Unfortunately Carlo was deformed, so everybody considered Margherita as an angel. Pambianchi can't accept this consideration: he sees this Velazquez's work as a mix between holy and profane. Beautiful at two years old, with the Holy Heart, in the Velazquez's work, deformed by a big head with a black spot on her face in the Pambianchi's work. No more holy purity for Pambianchi, just tragic and grubby images.
