Daniela Penco

Daniela Penco was born in Codogno in 1974. She loves Milan, where she lives and works, and the sea. The city and the beach are recurring subjects in her artworks. Her painting is characterized by a rapid and vibrating brush stoke; there is a perfect armony between light and colours and her canvas remind Impressionist ones.

The starting point is reality which is altered by personal feelings and impressions and her subjects (views, landscapes, seascapes, still lives...) are always envolved in romantic atmospheres.

She studied at the artistic high school and graduated at Brera Academy. She is a member of the associations Pittori del Naviglio e Pittori di via Bagutta and some of her works are conserved in private italian and foreign collections (New York, Miami, Tokyo, Cancun, Arabia Saudita, Switzerland, Los Angeles, San Pietroburgo, France, Spain, Scotland). She took part at many personal and collective exhibitions and every month, on last sunday she exhibits her artworks on Naviglio, at Ripa di Pota Ticinese.
