Rosa Olivares

Rosa Olivares is a Peruvian artist born in 1972. She began by studying goldsmithing and then moved to Milan in the early 2000s, where she currently lives and works.

Her art comes from an experience of rebirth that she considers a gift from God. This turning point in her life allowed her to review her priorities, and she wanted to find something to make her heart beat again. She discovered that art was the meaning of her existence, something more worth existing for.

From then on, he began to use this opportunity to share his dreams and passion. The recurring hearts in her works are a symbol of her heart that almost stopped beating and which she uses as a message of optimism and positivity.

Her sculptures are entirely handmade in ceramic, unique pieces made with very high temperature kilns that allow the material to be shaped to the desired form.

In 2017 he held his first solo exhibition at Griffit in Milan while his works are on display at Libreria Bocca in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and in numerous galleries in the capital.

"My goal is to convey love with the hope of bringing a smile" - Rosa
