Ugo Nespolo
Ugo Nespolo was born in Mosso Santa Maria (Biella) in 1941.
His artworks are inspired by Pop Art and New Dadaism because their content is always ironic and trasgressive. He can find these subjects in his puzzles and toys realized in '60s but also in paintings enriched bt nursery rhymes and poems. The artist uses different materials, sometimes precoius like silver and mother of pearl. He also tries particular techniques like collage and marquetry. His artworks are the result of a continuous research for newer meanings for ordinary objects. For this reason his creations are always characterized by many references to the modernity.
