Meloniski da Villacidro, Move, mixed media on canvas, 70x70 cm

Move: unique work on sale by the contemporary artist Meloniski da Villacidro. A multicolor hot-air balloon fluctuates in the sky, bringing with it a small castle laying on a cloud. The colors of the balloon, yellow, red and blu, recall the ones of the sky, that Meloniski represents in the final moment of the sunset, when the first lights of the stars are faced by the last sunrays. The entire composition is characterized by an idea of lightness and grace, typical of the dreamlike and imaginary scenes represented by the artist. Always experimenter of various and different techniques, Meloniski combines also in this artwork traditional painting and tridimensional inserts, in creating an alternation of surfaces plastic and dynamic. The work is signed on the right bottom by the artist.
