A unique work by the artist Giovanni Malesci. The work, realised using the oil on panel technique, shows a landscape in which Bianca Pasqualetti, the artist's wife, is placed in the foreground. 

The technique is made by a free use of colour.

Malesci is the heir of Giovanni fattori, from whom he takes up both the 'macchia' technique and the themes, such as landscape, animals, people and portraits.
