Propoganda Engineering HPM is a mixed media on paper by American artist and street artist Shepard Fairey, better known as Obey. The silkscreen is retouched by hand by the artist with stencils and collage, which makes it very interesting and eye-catching.

Here again we find Obey's great activism for social and cultural issues. In this subject, the artist wants to bring attention to the issue of propaganda, trying to make people realise that it is a double-edged sword, how powerful it is on an international level and, above all, how communication is exploited to influence the choices of public opinion on a global level.

Obey wants in a way to remind us to always be careful and to filter well the news that reaches us through the mass media. The silkscreen print is hand-signed in the bottom right-hand corner and numbered in the bottom left-hand corner in an edition of just 10.
