God Saves and Satan Invests is a silkscreen print by the American artist and street artist Shepard Fairey, better known as Obey.

His work, as is often the case, addresses very important social and cultural dynamics. Obey here criticises the widespread use of firearms that circulate freely in the United States and that have often led to multiple mass shootings, even in schools.

There is also a religious reference in the serigraphy that Obey uses to highlight the hypocrisy of those who hide behind Christian values, but then use 'instruments' of death, which are definitely closer to Satan than to God. Obey reminds us to always love our neighbour and invites human beings to be better and not to be tamed by dark impulses. The work is signed in the lower right-hand corner and numbered in the lower left-hand corner and belongs to an edition of 350.
