Los Caprichos

Los Caprichos are a series of 80 tables by Goya. These etching have been realized during the last decade of 18th century. The artist wanted to critic bad habits and ignorance of his contemporary society and middle class. Publishing was banned till 1799 because of the scandal caused. Goya risked to be persecuted by The Tribunal of the Holy Office of the Inquisition.
