Stargate Light
Stargate Light is the last series realized by Carlo Massimo Franchi. This collection has been presented by the Gallery Pisacane Arte during the exposition Accendi l'arte in June 2013.
The chromatical and formal intensity of his famous Kaleidos is more and more strong thanks to the light: here we can find the kaleidoscope effect (the base concept of Kaleidos) in large size. Hues and nuances of artworks (realized in plexiglass) change continually creating a great emotive impact in the observer who is strongly involved in the creation-fruition of the artwork.
The artist loves to experiment new materials (like neon and plexiglass) and in this collection he breaks down the wall of two dimension of canvas in a creation which go beyond the traditional pictorial shape.
