Salvador Dalì, The Builder, silkscreen printing on plate, 30x40 cm, 1981

Silkscreen print, printed in 10 colours on 800/1000 solid silver plate, engraved with the numbering and signature of Maestro Dalì in the bottom right-hand corner. The serigraph is part of the complete cycle of "The Trades of Man", produced by Rizzoli Arte and exhibited at the "International Art Exposition", an important event held in New York in March 1981.

This subject represents the Builder's craft, as is typical of his style Dalì inserts a surrealist setting, with a series of structures in construction made by the breath of the Builder represented at the top left, who like a superior entity gives life to buildings and entire cities.

The work is number 174/1500 and bears the engraved signature.
