This lithograph on Arches paper, is a reissue of the subject created in 1970 for the "Les Chaveaux de Dali" collection. It depicts the Death personified with a scythe, riding his horse while appearing to look towards the outside of the work.

The subjects are stylized portraits, typical of the style of the surrealist master.

The work has the signature printed in the lower right, while in the lower left is initialed EA (Epreuve d'Artiste or Artist's Proof).
