Lucio Del Pezzo

Lucio Del Pezzo was born in Naples on 13th December 1933.

He is a founders of "Gruppo 58", a group related to many avantgardes like Enrico Baj's Nuclear Movement, the Spoor one in Monaco, Ohases in Paris and Boa in Buenos Aires.

Lucio Del Pezzo's production is based on the use of popular objects enriched with different materials. His works cross the border between paintings and sculptures. His style is characterized by a rapprochement to metaphysical atmospheres, whereas the humor and irony of every work is inspired by dadaist movement.

He is one of the most important italian artists and he still lives and works in Milan.
