Erika Calesini

Erika Calesini was born in Morciano di Romagna in 1974.

Driven by her passion for fashion, she graduated from the F. Mengaroni Art Institute in Pesaro, then continued her studies in Bologna at the Istituto Secoli.

In 1994 she began working with prestigious fashion and design houses, her vision of style led her to create a line of accessories and clothing called "Erika's Accessories" and distributed in several stores in Italy.

Her creativity, however, pushes her to look for new areas that will lead her to experiment with different materials and waste objects.

In particular, the teaching of her father, a skilled craftsman, will bring her closer to ironworking. The first work realized by Erika and that will give a new boost to her career will be "Tree of Light", where iron components skillfully assembled, will create an artistic sculpture.

Art then becomes a starting point to manifest her creative spirit.

Since the beginning of his career, the artist receives the first awards by creating solo and group exhibitions in galleries, museums, public and private spaces.

Arriving at an international success that sees her represented by galleries around the world.

For this artist the research and use of recycled materials are a careful choice of sustainability.

Erika Calesini's clicli artists are different, from the series of mannequins to those of the bicycles, up to the more colorful and crackling BALLON SERIES dedicated to balloons.
