Artists
Cracking Art is a group of six artists founded in 1993 with the purpose of changing the history of contemporary art. The name itself comes from the idea of breaking with the past: “to crack” is indeed referred to the idea of snaping, splitting, and of course breaking. The credo of the artists is developed on the one hand according to a true environmentalist feeling, and on the other according to a constant attention to technological innovations. The choice of using recycled plastic is indeed explained by both inclinations. Removing plastic from a destruction eventually toxic and lethal for th environment, means producing artworks careful towards nature, and that particularly communicate through an innovative aesthetic language.
The founders of the Group are: Alex Angi, Kicco, Renzo Nucara, Carlo Rizzetti, William Sweetlove e Marco Veronese. In this page we will introduce you some works that represent the artistic creations of each Cracking Art Group's member.
