Anna Antola, Bather, mixed media on paper, 16x13 cm

Bather: work on paper by the milanese contemporary artist Anna Antola. Since ever fascinated by Picasso and his subjects, Antola proposes also in her works the theme of the woman. In the work here presented, the woman is in fact, one more time, the protagonist: laying on a sandy beach, her tanned skin stands out against the bright color of her swimsuit, and the intense blue of the sea rippling because of the waves. The typical trait of the artist, given by a naive and light aura, is totally recognizable also in a work of such reduces dimensions as this is. The work is signed by the artist on the right bottom.
