Luminous artwork created by Alessandro D'Aquila, taking up the concept of the octometric table used by ophthalmologists for visual tests on patients. Instead of the traditional letters, the artist proposes the famous poem "Soldati" by Giuseppe Ungaretti, written in 1918 during the First World War, as for him it perfectly sums up the sense of stasis of the contemporary moment.

As you go down, the letters become smaller and smaller and are translated into the Braille alphabet, a distinctive sign of the artist, creating an effect of contrast.

Work signed on the back in an edition of 10 copies.
