A luminous work realised by Alessandro D'Aquila taking up the concept of the octometric table used by ophthalmologists for visual tests on patients. Instead of the traditional letters, the artist proposes the well-known passage from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, "E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle", as for him it perfectly sums up the desire for recovery and hope he hopes for the contemporary world.

As one descends, the letters become smaller and smaller and are translated into the Braille alphabet, the artist's hallmark, creating a contrasting effect.

Work signed on the back in an edition of 9.
