Aj Roi, Bartolomeo, mixed media on steel plate with led, 74,3x55,5 cm, 2023

Unique artwork of Aj Roi (Federico Ajello) made with a mixed technique on a sheet obtained from a road sign with 45 ACP bullet holes and multicolored LED strips. The protagonist of the opera is Bart, famous character of the animated series by Matt Groening "The Simpsons", revisited in an Italian key placing the emphasis on recurring stereotypes such as the white tank top, black hair fixed with gel and gold jewelry.

Aj Roi shaped the figure using a sheet of metal that he painted and fixed on a plate decorated with spray cans and marked by real gunshots, in full urban style. It is possible to illuminate the subject thanks to LED strips applied on the back.

Artwork signed by hand and accompanied by its packaging designed ad hoc by the artist himself.
