Obey, Lemmy damaged case, screen printing, 60x45 cm

The work is a tribute to the bassist of the rock band Motörhead, Lemmy Kilmister.

The artist has a passion for the group and considers it to be the most consistent and reliable institution in the history of music. He also admires Lemmy himself, whom he calls an icon, depicted here in typical hard-rocking, hard-living clothing with a handlebar moustache and leather. On the jacket, the band's logo is depicted with Obey's name on it.

The artist claims that, although Lemmy died in 2015 from cancer, his music and logo will live on forever, through his art he intends to make it even more immortal.
