The subject represented is taken from the circus world. There are in fact two jugglers on horseback, a recurrent figure in the artist's sculptures, as well as the nude female figure in the background called "Pomona".

The composition is essential and geometric; he also used his sketches, lines and pictorial strokes precisely for the design phase of the sculptures.

The work is signed in the lower right-hand corner.
